Blue, Orange, White Hat

CO 96 Stitches,
2x2 Rib for 2 inches
Then I'm not positive but... I am pretty sure I

knit 1 row, purl 1 row, knit one row in the blue,
then purl 1 row, knit one row in orange,
then purl 1 row, knit 1 row, purl 1 row in white
then did orange row again,
then purl 1 row, knit 1 row, purl 1 row in blue
THEN I started to knit every row in orange. I will now knit the rest in orange.

Pink Hat (for Frankie of Course)

Started this hat last night. The yarn is this super pretty pink sherbert color that I picked up last year at -->Fancy Image Yarn in Shelton, WA<--. Its all hand dyed and has some really beautiful variations of the pink shades.

Pretty much using the same Easy Rolled Edge Hat pattern from -->So Much Yarn in Seattle<--. CO 96 stitches. But I started it off with a seed stitch that I may work for about 2" and then K around until its long enough or I may seed stitch the whole thing, (if I dont get sick of it). Then bind off with a Kitchner or a 3 Needle Bind-Off to make it squared at the top. Then my plan is to make a couple of curly-cue pig tails to the corners.

Just a thought.

Black Hat is DONE!

All finished! Made with Cascade Yarns in Black with 16" #7 Adi Turbo circulars and switched to DPN when it got a little tight at the top. Pattern is the Easy Rolled Edge Hat from So Much Yarn in Seattle. Just added a 1" 2x2 rib instead of the rolled edge.

Gonna stick this in the mail ASAP for its recipient!

Keep Baby Warm!

This is so neat! Found this one for ya today... A cover for the baby when she's in the baby carrier! Its called -->Seaweed by Anna-Maria Adaktylos<-- Found on MagKnits. Looks pretty straight forward. Its a warm square that uses the buttons on your coat to keep it on. A peacoat would be Perfect with this, if not I think you would need to sew some buttons. Knit with bulky yarn on size 10 needles, no need to knit button holes, its chunky enough just to find a hole for your button. Like I said... Neat!

Mr. Bean Bear

Free Knitting Pattern for Mr. Bean Bear

When we were younger my brother Jake L-O-V-E loved Mr. Bean. He would sit 2 feet away from the tv and laugh out loud at all his misadventures. One of my faves was the one where he goes to the carnival and finds a baby attached to his car LOL! If you've never seen Mr. Bean before that last comment can sound pretty strange but trust me it was hilarious!

Started the Black Hat

I started the black hat last night. I cant say who its for but I am hoping that its well received :) I am using Black Cascade Yarns (220 Superwash 100% Wool) that I found at So Much Yarn in Seattle. The pattern is theirs too :o) The Easy Rolled Edge Hat -Worsted Weight Yarn by Linda Lindeman. The only change I've made is to knit a k2, p2 rib for about an inch instead of beginning with a plain knit around.
