I am pretty sure I &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;knit 1 row, purl 1 row, knit one row in the blue,&lt;br /&gt;then purl 1 row, knit one row in orange,&lt;br /&gt;then purl 1 row, knit 1 row, purl 1 row in white&lt;br /&gt;then did orange row again,&lt;br /&gt;then purl 1 row, knit 1 row, purl 1 row in blue&lt;br /&gt;THEN I started to knit every row in orange. The yarn is this super pretty pink sherbert color that I picked up last year at --&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.fancyimageyarn.com/"&gt;Fancy Image Yarn in Shelton, WA&lt;/a&gt;&lt;--. Its all hand dyed and has some really beautiful variations of the pink shades. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;Pretty much using the same Easy Rolled Edge Hat pattern from --&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.somuchyarn.com/"&gt;So Much Yarn in Seattle&lt;/a&gt;&lt;--. CO 96 stitches. But I started it off with a seed stitch that I may work for about 2" and then K around until its long enough or I may seed stitch the whole thing, (if I dont get sick of it). Then bind off with a &lt;a href="http://www.knittinghelp.com/videos/knitting-tips"&gt;Kitchner &lt;/a&gt;or a &lt;a href="http://www.knittinghelp.com/videos/casting-off"&gt;3 Needle Bind-Off&lt;/a&gt; to make it squared at the top. Found this one for ya today... A cover for the baby when she's in the baby carrier! Its called --&gt;&lt;a href="http://magknits.com/Nov07/patterns/seaweed.htm"&gt;Seaweed by Anna-Maria Adaktylos&lt;/a&gt;&lt;-- Found on MagKnits. Looks pretty straight forward. Its a warm square that uses the buttons on your coat to keep it on. A peacoat would be Perfect with this, if not I think you would need to sew some buttons. Knit with bulky yarn on size 10 needles, no need to knit button holes, its chunky enough just to find a hole for your button. Like I said... I cant say who its for but I am hoping that its well received :) &lt;img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5129865112929713682" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_sjliAadDAFU/RzDxJBnYPhI/AAAAAAAAAKA/l-RQs1-SPIg/s400/005.JPG" border="0" /&gt;I am using Black Cascade Yarns (220 Superwash 100% Wool) that I found at &lt;em&gt;So Much Yarn in Seattle&lt;/em&gt;. The pattern is theirs too :o) The Easy Rolled Edge Hat -Worsted Weight Yarn by Linda Lindeman.
